Welcome to Havago Transport a family owned and operated company;
A Queensland based progressive company providing Truck and Plant Hire, Quarry and Earthwork materials to the East Coast, Central and Northern Queensland areas since 1979. Our fleet of Trucks and Plant Operators are available to work on and off site. We have the ability to work safely with, and cart all types of Raw Materials.
Our overall operations are managed by Greg Parrack a Director in the company. Worked in the Mining, Earthmoving, Road and Rail, Quarry and Construction industry as a Labourer, Plant Operator, Road building Foreman, Owner Operator to Owner Manager.
The Director Manager’s responsibilities encompass the entire company operations, from the promotion of company capabilities to the successful completion of contracts. The manager ensures adequate control is placed on safety, quality, reliability and Overall Customer Satisfaction.
Administration functions are controlled by Judy Parrack, my wife and business partner also a Company Director together with our first Daughter Angelina Wilkins. The Administrator’s responsibilities include the provision for cost control, cash flow, payroll and debtors/creditors.
Logistic Operations are controlled by Brad Wilkins and I, these responsibilities include the daily control of truck allocation, Daily paperwork, Driver Fatigue Management, Drug and Alcohol Control, Maintenance requirements, Driver Training and Contentment.
Daily, Weekly and Annual Maintenance Management is implemented and controlled by Brad Wilkins, Brad our Son-in-Law completed his apprenticeship with Cummins Australia after which he went onto Manage a large commercial workshop repairing and maintaining Trucks, Trailers, Excavators, Loader, Bobcats, Dozers and Road Line Boring Machines. Brad’s vast experience is a valued asset to HAVAGO TRANSPORT in keeping the equipment in a safe and reliable working condition.
HAVAGO TRANSPORT is accredited in the following NHVAS modules. Basic Fatigue Management Scheme, Maintenance Management Scheme
Daniella Hind our second daughter maintains the ongoing record keeping of Compliance and our Management Scheme.
Havago Transport’s own fleet consists of 19 Trucks, 39 trailers including 10 x 2, 3 and 4 axle tipping dogs, 4 Live Bottom Belt Trailers, 18 Side Tippers, 2 Tandem Water Tankers, 2 Semi Water Tankers, 2 Flat Tops, 1 Float, 4 Live Floor Trailers 60 m/3 to 105 m/3, 2 Tandem & 5 Tri-axle Dollies.
We have 30 plus Subcontractors working semi-permanently with us towing our trailers and their own outfits
We ensure all necessary Insurances are current, Comprehensive Third Party, Public Liability and Work Cover. Our trucks and machines are in a good state of repair with current Registration and Machinery.
Our goal to prevent injury to Employees, Contractors, and The Community in general, and the Environment, is by operating with a set of values and behaviours that place safety above all other priorities.
I stress to you my expectation that everyone who works for HAVAGO TRANSPORT Pty Ltd as an Employee, a Subcontractor, or an Employee of a Subcontractor, will conduct themselves in accordance with this principle at all times whilst working for the company.
Management has a zero tolerance when it comes to Compliance, Safety, Drugs and Alcohol, Speeding and Overloading. Anything less will not be tolerated
